Parole: Approved

Well, Kris' parole came due today and she was approved for release. We busted her out of St. Vincent's Hospital and now we are required to live in a halfway house for a week. This is the same dormitory we've been living in for about 2 weeks now, Kris is just moving back into our room with us now. She will have some follow up appointments next week and they just want to make sure now complications arise and she continues to progress before we fly home. Parker has a checkup too. We can't wait to be back in Wisconsin (not many people say that when coming from CA) and see all of our friends, family and pets.

  1. Kris and Michael,
I am very thankful for the blogs that you do
to keep us informed of the progress. We have
been praying for you and will continue to do so
as Kris heals. The Parker pictures are so much
fun to see also. Thanks for all you have done
to keep us in the know. Aunt Bev

Kris it will get better everyday. Rest as much as you can... and don't use an electric tooth brush like I did! LOL :)Get one of those plastic lawn chairs and set it up in the shower . you will love it! Don't get your head wet though... another few more days and you will be able to break out the shampoo and that's a day you'll never forget.Just get Mike to help ya.

  4. Hi Kris&Michael&Parker Christian & Kaye!
I am so thrilled to visualize you ALL together at Seton Hall. Just think every night before you go to sleep, you ascend through the mighty prayers of the Sisters of Charity (Love )living on the floors above you!

  5. Hey Kris! Glad to see your doing well! I know you're going to make me walk all of the stairs in the hospital when you get back... after watching the video, I see you almost have them mastered. Don't worry, if you change your mind I'm happy to take the elevator - haha! Can't wait for you guys to be back in Wisconsin. We miss you! - Wade
